Sunset pier

A long exposure photo of a pier during sunset in Katwijk, the Netherlands. Due to the long exposure the movement of the clouds can be seen in the sky as steaks and the water of the sea turn smooth. The sun becomes visible behind the moving clouds and casts its golden light on the pier and clouds.

This photo won the 1^st Place in Roots Nature Photography competition 2014 in the category Landscapes.
